50 Ohm RG and URM

With 50 Ohm Coaxial Cables being the best compromise between high power handling AND low signal attenuation (Loss), practically any application that demands high power handling capacity will use 50 Ohm Coaxial Cable.  A good rule of thumb is that any device that functions as a transmitter or transceiver tends to use 50 Ohm Coaxial Cable.  This includes devices such as CB/Ham Radios, Broadcast Radio/TV Transmitters, Wi-Fi and Cellular Phone Repeaters and 2-Way Radios (Walkie Talkies).

We supply and stock a wide range of popular 50 Ohm Coaxial Cables.  RG-58 50 Ohm Coaxial Cable provides acceptable performance for most applications.

There are instances where cables must withstand extreme temperatures (i.e. up to 200 degrees Celsius), such as military and aerospace applications, in these applications PTFE Teflon insulation is used .These high-temperature coaxial cables can handle extreme changes in temperature time and time again.

For installations where protection against mechanical shock e.g., direct burial or rodents is required, DataGuard armoured coaxial cables offer maximum performance.

Our coaxial cables are available in outer jackets of PVC, PE (duct grade) or FireFighter® LSZH which have low smoke emission without poisonous gases. LSZH FireFighter cables are the preferred choice when installing  in public places where human life and valuable materials and equipment need to be protected.
